May 19th – 24th. 2019. Pacific Grove, California.
Instructors: Eileen Rafferty & Elizabeth Stone.
Welcome to our fifth Alumni Creativity for Women workshop. This year we will be gathering on the beautiful California Coast. Monterey Peninsula could be called ‘quintessential California’, with vineyards, Carmel’s historical and vibrant arts community, the breathtaking coastline of Big Sur, & seaside restaurants serving local fare. The workshop will be held at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, CA. Celebrated as Monterey’s ‘Refuge by the Sea’, Asilomar sits within the coastal State Park grounds. This gathering place dates back to 1913, when hundreds of young women attended Asilomar’s first YWCA leadership conference. Needless to say, this place holds a rich history as a meeting place for women, creatives and community building.
This workshop is exclusively for Alumni of our Creativity for Women workshops. In our time together we expand further on our quest for self expression and living a creative life. We gather as a community of women who share the dedication and desire to nurture our creative paths. The week includes group discussions, photographic explorations, creative exercises, outdoor activities and critiques. In this special workshop we continue to provide a new visual environment as well as fresh ideas and exercises to further build on our experiences and growth from previous Creativity workshops.
Cost for Workshop: $1595. A deposit of $450 is due at time of registration.
